Pawmi — Terms of Use

Pawmi connects people with rescue pets in Malaysia. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour
Pawmi carries messages and listings written by its users. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not post, send or list:
- Animals for sale, resale or breeding presented as rescues.
- Threats, harassment, hate speech or sexual content.
- False information about an animal's health, age or history.
- Anyone else's personal details without their consent.
- Anything unlawful under Malaysian law, including the Animal Welfare Act 2015.
Reports are reviewed and acted on — content removed, and accounts suspended or removed — within 24 hours. Report anything with the flag icon on a listing or a conversation. You can also block another user, which stops their messages reaching you immediately and does not tell them.
Adoption is between you and the rescue
Pawmi introduces you to a rescue and carries your application. The adoption decision, any home check, any fee and the care of the animal afterwards are matters between you and that rescue. Pawmi is not a party to the adoption and does not own, home or transport animals.
We do not verify every claim a rescue makes about an animal. A verified badge means Pawmi has checked that the organisation exists and is a rescue, not that any particular listing is accurate.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older to apply to adopt.
- Give accurate information. A rescue relies on your answers to decide whether a home suits an animal.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You can close your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete my account.
Your content
Photos, diary entries and messages you add remain yours. You give Pawmi permission to store and display them where the app needs to — your diary to you, your application to the rescue you sent it to. We do not use your photos in listings or in marketing.
Ending access
We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why unless doing so would put someone at risk.
No warranty
Pawmi is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that a listing is correct, that a rescue will reply, or that an application will succeed.
